Hi, I'm Barbara

I've been making things by hand for as long as I can remember.

What started with felt squares and handmade doll clothes grew into a lifelong love of sewing, upcycling and creating something meaningful from scratch. There's something special about taking a piece of fabric and turning it into something completely your own.

But for me, sewing has always been about more than clothes.

It's about confidence.

It's about learning a skill you never thought you could master, solving problems, trying again when things don't quite go to plan, and feeling that incredible sense of pride when you stand back and say, "I made that."

More Than Sewing

Over the years, Craft-A-Rella has grown into a creative community where people come together to learn, share ideas and support one another.

Whether you're threading a needle for the first time, making your own clothes, exploring pattern making, or simply looking for a few hours of creativity and connection, you'll find a warm welcome here.

Our classes are designed to be friendly, relaxed and inclusive spaces where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can learn at their own pace and enjoy the process of making something with their own hands

Whether you're looking to learn a new skill, spend quality time with your child, bring your mum for a creative day out, meet like-minded people, or simply try something different, we'd love to welcome you.

So come along, pull up a chair,

and let's make something beautiful together 😊🪡
